Heartfelt scenes will be shown where we will see Davina McCall tell Lynne that she has tracked down her son and plans on reuniting the pair.

When Lynne was only 14 years old in 1968, her childhood was ‘shattered’ when she fell pregnant by an older man who then disappeared completely.

Davina goes into detail about the tragic story and the events that change Lynne’s life forever.

The host said: “The anguish of giving up her baby has consumed our next searcher for over 50 years even more so since her lost child is her only child.”

A teary Lynne recalls those horrible moments when her only son was ‘snatched from her arms’ saying that it ‘should never have happened’.

The devastated mother also confesses to how there isn’t a single day that goes by when she isn’t thinking of him.

At the time of her pregnancy, Lynne’s older lover was nowhere to be seen and it was too much for her parents to handle so she was sent away to a mother and baby home.

Lynne finally got to met her son

She was only able to spend several days at the hospital with her son, who she named ‘Eugene’, and who she ‘loved’ every minute of. But sadly, Lynne knew the harsh reality that her son would be taken from her.

“I loved every minute of it, bathing him, I’d sing to him, and I’d talk to him. For 10 days you get to love something – then the very last day I remember crying,” she on the ITV show.

“And then they put him in the cot, just wheeled him away and that was it. I couldn’t believe something so beautiful was snatched from my arms.

“My tears were dropping on his face as I was feeding him and I was saying I was sorry and I loved him and I’ll always love him, and one day I would find him.”
