Finsbury Park is becoming one of the most popular areas in London, and its nightlife scene is growing with famous pubs like The Plimsoll on everyone’s list.

But there’s another public house nearby, a pure oasis away from the hustle and bustle of north London. A spot to enjoy a pint in an enchanting pub – called the Faltering Fullback.

Tucked away on the backstreets of Finsbury Park, a 5 minute walk from the station is a spot being dubbed as the prettiest pub in London.

The Faltering Fullback, is an Irish family run pub adorned with ivy, flowers and vines that boasts a massive beer garden.

During the summer the Faltering Fullback welcomes drinkers into a multi storied tree house-like garden with lots of space to soak in the sun, but on colder spring days its rugged interior is also equally charming.

While it might be delicate to look out from the outside, the inside feels very eccentric with bicycles and other unlikely objects hanging from the ceiling.

The pub is also a haven for sports fans, The Irish pub is named after a rugby position, and has a whole area for sports fans to sit in and take in the big matches.

But despite its cool beer selection, funky interior and garden, it’s the outside of the pub that’s planting the seed in everyone’s mind that this is the prettiest pub in the capital.
