Natasha’s Law will help millions of allergy sufferers

A new food safety law named after a teenager who died following an allergic reaction has been hailed as “a big moment” for millions of food allergy sufferers in the UK.

Natasha’s Law, which comes into force today, is aimed at increasing transparency within the food industry in order to protect those with serious food allergies.

The new law will require all food businesses in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland to include labels featuring a full list of ingredients on all pre-packaged food. More details here.
