Tributes to a “heat and pleasant” councillor who was a “true advocate for her constituents” have been paid following her loss of life.
Lewisham Council introduced on Wednesday that Bellingham ward Cllr Sue Hordijenko had handed away.
Cllr Hordijenko was elected in 2016 after a by-election. She represented the Bellingham ward together with Cllr Alan Corridor and Cllr Jacq Paschoud.
Bellingham Labour tweeted: “We’re very unhappy to say that Cllr Sue Hordijenko has died.
“Sue was a Bellingham resident who labored exhausting for native residents with an approachable method, she was an actual grafter and he or she was an lively member of our group – we are going to miss her terribly.”
