Midfielder Cheick Doucoure has penned a new long-term deal with Crystal Palace.
Our paper exclusively revealed in January that the Eagles were set to open talks with the 24-year-old over an improved contract.
The Mali international has signed a deal which runs until 2029 at Selhurst Park.
Doucoure is currently recovering from a serious Achilles tendon injury he suffered during the 2-1 defeat at Luton in November and is targeting a return to action before the 2023-24 campaign comes to an end in May.
He penned a five-year deal with the Eagles when he joined from Lens in a deal worth an initial £21million at the start of the 2022-23 season.
The midfielder made 35 appearances in all competitions last campaign and won the Player of the Season award for his performances.
Liverpool were keen on a move for Doucoure in the summer, but Palace slapped a £70m price tag on the now 24-year-old to fend off their interest.
Doucoure joins Eberechi Eze, Michael Olise, Sam Johnstone and Jordan Ayew in signing new contracts with Palace this season.

After signing the contract, Doucouré added: “I’m really happy to commit my future to Crystal Palace – I’ve enjoyed my time here so much already.
“We have a great group here, and I’m looking forward to getting back on the pitch as quickly as possible to play in front of the supporters of this fantastic football club.”
