West Ham ‘advertise SEVEN squad positions on online transfer website’ as the Hammers’ struggles in the market continue despite making £105m from Declan Rice sale

  • West Ham are the only Premier League club not to have made a senior signing
  • They are yet to spend any of the money made from the sale of Declan Rice
  • London club are reportedly looking for players on the website TransferRoom

West Ham are reportedly advertising online for seven positions in their squad after making zero progress in the transfer market so far.

The Hammers ended last season on a high winning a historic European trophy and were thought to have done well by forcing Arsenal to pay over £100m for Declan Rice.

However, they have done nothing with that money so far and fans are growing increasingly frustrated by their lack of transfer activity.

And now, Hammers fans concerns have gone from bad to worse after reports claimed the club had taken their transfer search to website TransferRoom.

The Athletic claim West Ham are advertising for seven squad positions with four weeks of the window remaining.

David Moyes’ West Ham are reportedly advertising online for seven positions in their squad

TransferRoom is a website that is used by a number of top clubs across Europe and helps orchestrate deals between clubs.

The London outfit remain the only club in the Premier League not to have made a senior signing during the current window.

Mail Sport’s Mike Keegan broke the news on Friday that David Moyes’ future at West Ham is under serious threat following a row over recruitment.

The Scot may depart in the near future leaving the Hammers searching for a manager ahead of the new season.

Tensions have been rising throughout the summer amid a difference in opinion on transfer targets between Moyes, new technical director Tim Steidten and co-owner David Sullivan.

Moyes is keen to bring in players with Premier League experience such as James Ward-Prowse and Manchester United pair Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay.

However, he has faced hurdles getting those deals over the line with others wanting to go in another direction.

Those tensions have now reached breaking point with a feeling that the departure of Moyes or Steidten is inevitable.
