The current cost of living crisis has forced Londoners to look for creative ways to make their money last and keep their stomachs full. Whilst many of the capital’s population have turned to more affordable meal options from the likes of Aldi, Lidl and Asda, there are those who have chosen an entirely different route altogether.
A group of friends took to Tik Tok to show off their new method of saving money with hilarious results.
The Tik Tok user @mattwwaters posted a video captioned: “We were stuffed #pizza #gordonramsay #london”. The 25-second clip showed the friends serving themselves pizza from one of world-famous chef Gordan Ramsay’s restaurants and then sneaking it into their bag.

The caption on the screen read: “Gordan Ramsay bottomless pizza gonna feed us for a whole week” and judging by the countless amount of slices that were added to their handbags and purses they are not wrong.
The video has since gone viral and racked up nearly half a million likes on Tik Tok and nearly 2,000 comments. One user commented: “Never in my life did I think Gordon would turn into a buffet [laughing emoji]” and another user commented: “Anything’s a buffet if you bring Tupperware”.
Just last year Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey opened his new restaurant, Gordon Ramsey’s Street Pizza at the revitalised Battersea Power Station. The restaurant offers diners the opportunity to feast on £15 bottomless sourdough pizzas served by the slice so diners can enjoy all of the restaurant’s signature, washed down with signature cocktails and craft beer from the Street Lounge Bar.
