In a corner of East London sits one of the most expensive apartment blocks in the country. The piece of real estate boasts flawless amenities and views across the city, but apartments come with a hefty price tag and yearly service charge. One Park Drive in Canary Wharf, E14, is situated within the Wood Wharf on the Isle of Dogs, Tower Hamlets.
The residential skyscraper offers its residents use of a swimming pool and spa complex, a 26 seater cinema, its very own restaurants and a fully kitted out gym. The building was designed by Herzog & de Meuron, Swedish architects and is 58-storeys tall, housing 468 private residential apartments. It is 205m tall, so if you are scared of heights you might have to think twice about getting an apartment there.
One other reason that you might have to think twice about getting an apartment in the exclusive tower block are the prices of the sought after real estate. It can almost be expected that with all the amenities on offer the apartments were not going to be cheap. One bedroom apartments start at around £900k and this doesn’t include the building’s yearly service costs.

Google estimates these service costs would be in the region of £6,000 a year. The service costs increase as the rooms do and to rent out a three bedroom apartment you could be looking at paying more than £4,000 a month or £48,000 a year. The apartment block was toured by a TikTok star called Londonrealestate and he filmed the tower’s amenities and a few of the rooms.

Others imagined the costs would always be too high for them to live in One Park Drive and said it was a “dream” for them to someday live in a similar property. Londonrealestate explored the tower and he showed videos of the gym, concierge and even the views from the buildings balconies.
