‘This area is dangerous’ says witness

A witness who saw a group of young people outside the Scala nighclub on Pentonville road shortly before police were called to an incident where three men were stabbed says the area has become dangerous.

Anna, told MyLondon she saw ‘lots of people in front of Scala’ at around 5:20 in the morning on her way to work. She said police and ambulance came at around 5:30 along the Pentonville Road.

“Lately, this area is dangerous” she said. “I come early mornning leaivng late around 9pm we can see all kinds of people. I can see it’s not safe.

“I knew something had happened there but I had no idea what it was” she added

Police and London Ambulance Service paramedics found three men with stab wounds aged 20, 20 and 23 respectively.

All three men were taken to hospital. None of their injuries are considered life-changing according to a spokesperson for the Met Police. A crime scene is in place which includes the closure of part of Pentonville Road.
