A stretch of the A30 London Road was closed in both directions as a result of a serious collision. The crash reportedly took place outside The Ely public house and hotel in Blackwater, Camberley.
The road was closed between two roundabouts – Cricket Hill in Yateley and the Hawley Roundabout in Blackwater. The scene of the collision is close to Blackbushe Airport and Yateley Common Country Park.
The road was closed during the early hours of Thursday morning with the crash reportedly occurring just after midnight.
An update from traffic monitoring service Inrix at 3am said: “A30 London Road in both directions closed due to serious accident between A327 (Cricket Hill roundabout, Yateley) and B3272 Reading Road (Hawley Roundabout, Blackwater). The crash happened outside the Ely pub after midnight.” The road has since reoepened.
