A doctor at St Mary’s Hospital is jubilant after completing last weekend’s London Marathon in a very respectable time of 2 hours 45 minutes – despite it being only his second-ever marathon.
29-year-old Keaan Amin, who runs for Ryde Harriers, only took up running 5 years ago as a way to relieve stress whilst studying medicine at university.
Despite this, he put in an impressive sub-3-hour time across the 26.2-mile route, weaving its way through central London.

In a time of 2hr 45min 26sec, Keaan’s efforts placed him 1222nd overall and 860th in the 18-39 category.
