The phrase ‘fit for a king’ is thrown around fairly often, mostly without a lot of justification.

For this particular hotel room though, it’s the only way the splendour on offer can be accurately communicated.

And with a name like the ‘Royal Suite’, this premium suite at the Lanesborough Hotel in Knightsbridge, West London spares absolutely no excess.

Situated in the Regency-styled and stately Lanesborough Hotel, if someone told you you were staying in Buckingham Palace, you’d have absolutely no reason not to believe them.

Among the many incredible amenities the luxurious suite has to offer is its 24 hour Butler service, as well as space for up to 17 guests.

The decorations across the suite wouldn’t be out of place in one of the Queen’s many castles and palaces

The full £26,000 a night suite comes with it’s very own car to drive you around London.

And it’s no ordinary car, with a chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce Phantom worth £320,000 at your disposal for the length of your stay.

The suite has seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms. each of them with its own unique decor style, whilst still retaining the regency charm that ties the entire suite together.

The views out of the windows are similar to the Queen herself’s, looking out over Buckingham Palace Gardens.

It also has two living rooms and a dining room with a 12 seater table fit for a banquet.

With 18th-century oil paintings and chandeliers adorning the walls and ceilings throughout the suite, there is little more luxurious available in London.

Don’t be fooled by the old-fashioned looks though if you enjoy your tech, throughout the suite are TV’s hidden behind paintings, remote controls for anything you can think of, and pressure-sensitive night lighting which knows as soon as you set foot on the floor after dark.

But at £26,000 a night unfortunately it seems royalty are the only people who could actually afford to stay in the Royal Suite.
