We’ve all heard of the Strictly Come Dancing ‘curse’ leading to big public break ups but Dancing on Ice has had some very wholesome alternatives.
In fact one unsuspecting pair ended up falling in love and tying the knot.
When you see some of the amazing routines in ITV’s ice based competition, it’s no surprise to hear they take a lot of preparation to get right.

Partners need to spend many hours planning and practising before the big day, otherwise it could be pretty embarrassing.
And sometimes more than just a great skating number develops.
When former England goalkeeper David Seaman signed up to appear on season one of the show in 2008 with ice-skater Frankie Poultney, neither could have known where it would have led.
A year later they started a relationship and in December 2013, their engagement was announced.

They married in February 2015 and are still together to this day.
