London Tube closures May 3-5: See the TfL full list

As with most weekends, some stations will be closed or partly closed for TfL to carry out essential work.

We’ve broken down a list of all the work on the London Underground, Overground and Elizabeth Line this weekend to ensure you don’t get caught out and can plan.

To get the most up-to-date stats for the Underground, you can use the TfL app or website. 

Friday, May 3:

London Overground: Sunday 28, Monday 29, Tuesday 30 April, Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 May, from 22:45 each evening, no service between Hackney Downs and Chingford

Waterloo & City line: Service operates Monday to Friday between 6am and 12.30am only. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays and on public/bank holidays.

Saturday, May 4:

Circle:  Saturday 4, Sunday 5 and Bank Holiday Monday 6 May, no service between Edgware Road and Tower Hill (via Victoria).

District: Saturday 4, Sunday 5 and Bank Holiday Monday 6 May, no service between Hammersmith / Wimbledon / Kensington (Olympia) and Edgware Road / Embankment. 

DLR: Saturday 4, Sunday 5 and Bank Holiday Monday 6 May, no service between Westferry / Poplar and Lewisham,

Waterloo & City line: Service operates Monday to Friday between 6am and 12.30am only. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays and public/bank holidays.

Sunday, May 5:

Circle: Saturday 4, Sunday 5 and Bank Holiday Monday 6 May, no service between Edgware Road and Tower Hill (via Victoria).

District: Saturday 4, Sunday 5 and Bank Holiday Monday 6 May, no service between Hammersmith / Wimbledon / Kensington (Olympia) and Edgware Road / Embankment.

DLR: Saturday 4, Sunday 5 and Bank Holiday Monday 6 May, no service between Westferry / Poplar and Lewisham. 

Elizabeth Line: Sunday 5 May, the first train from Paddington to Reading will depart at 07:00 instead of 06:46

London Overground: Sunday 5 May, from 22:15, no service between Highbury & Islington and Dalston Junction. Replacement buses operate between Camden Road and Stratford via Highbury & Islington, Canonbury and Dalston Junction.

Waterloo and City: Service operates Monday to Friday between 6am and 12.30am only. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays and public/bank holidays.
