Pinnacle Drinks Oxford Arms London Dry Gin recalled from Dan Murphy’s, BWS over possible chemical contamination

A popular gin sold at BWS and Dan Murphy’s stores across the nation has been recalled due to a potential chemical contamination.

The major recall notice was issued for a batch of Pinnacle Drinks Oxford Arms London Dry Gin 37 per cent 700mL, which is sold in the aforementioned bottle shops and online.

It is also sold online through Woolworths.

Food Standards Australia says the recall is due to the potential chemical contamination of styrene.

“Food products containing chemical contamination may cause illness or injury if consumed,” the recall notice states.

The batch number in question is L3 236. No other batches are affected.

Customers are urged not to drink the product and instead return it to their place of purchase for a full refund.

Anyone concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
