A block of flats was engulfed in flames earlier today with emergency crews racing to the scene of a fire in central London which destroyed a flat and saw three people taken to hospital.
The blaze was seen erupting from windows, sending smoke billowing over rush hour traffic on Thursday (March 7).
Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were in Buckingham Palace Road in Victoria, according to London Fire Brigade (LFB).
The Brigade initially said half of a first floor flat was alight, before later confirming a flat had been destroyed and part of another damaged.
