Grim 42 hours in London with two stabbed and another injured

This only includes incidents that Newsquest London is aware of and has reported on.

The incidents unfolded between March 13 and 14 in Thamesmead, Romford, and Shoreditch.

Information about each incident is from the Metropolitan Police.

Boy, 17, taken to hospital after stabbing in Thamesmead

A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital after a stabbing in Thamesmead.

The incident happened in Southmere Drive at around 12.35pm on March 13.

Officers, London Ambulance Service, and an air ambulance attended and found a boy injured.

He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening.

Five minutes before the stabbing at 12.30pm, a man was found uninjured after being attacked by a group of men with baseball bats in Seacourt Road. 

No arrests have been made as police enquires continue.

Man taken to hospital after stabbing during fight in Romford

A man was taken to hospital after being stabbed during a fight in Romford.

Officers were called to reports of a fight in Waterloo Road at around 2.38pm on March 14.

One of the men was found with a stab wound to his leg at the scene.

He was treated by the London Ambulance Service before being taken to hospital.

His injuries were assessed as not life-threatening.

Both the men were known to each other.

No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.

Man in hospital with neck injury after suspected crossbow attack in Shoreditch

A man in his 20s was taken to hospital after a suspected crossbow attack in Shoreditch.

The incident happened in Arnold Circus just before 7.30pm on March 14.

Officers were at the scene and found a man with a neck injury.

He was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said it is suspected the man may have been struck by a crossbow dart.

No arrests have been made.
