Boy, 17, stabbed in daylight in Loughborough Park Brixton

Emergency services were called to Loughborough Park in Brixton at around 4.25pm on Tuesday (February 27). 

The Metropolitan Police have since confirmed that his injuries are not life-threatening. 

No arrests have been made. 

A Met Police spokesperson said: “An investigation is under way after a teenager was injured in a stabbing in Lambeth. We were called at 4.25pm on Tuesday, February 27, to reports of a stabbing in Loughborough Park, in Brixton. 

“Officers responded and a 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital by paramedics with a stab wound. His condition was assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing. 

“Further enquiries are taking place and any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 5109/27Feb. There have been no arrests.” 

The London Ambulance Service said: “We were called yesterday (Tuesday February 27) at 4:23pm to reports of a stabbing in Loughborough Park, SW9. 

“We sent a number of resources including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. 

“We treated a patient at the scene before taking them to a London major trauma centre.”
