LONDON BREAKFAST INDABA SOLD OUT
The demand for proactive, supportive business networking for South African professionals and entrepreneurs abroad is high.
Terence Witten, one of the organisers confirmed ‘With more than 10 days to go till the event we have had to negotiate with the venue to release more tickets, demand is high, South Africans want to do business together.’
The SAFFA Networking Group will welcome 60 South Africans next Thursday at The Cut near Waterloo.
GUEST SPEAKER: PATRICK ATHERTON
Each Breakfast Indaba has a guest speaker.
On Thursday, Patrick Atherton will be talking to the London Breakfast Indaba about his spiritual journey.
Born in 1985, in Benoni, Patrick left for London at 18, returning to South Africa in 2014.
After running an expat print publishing business in London serving the South African, Australian and Kiwi expats, Patrick returned to Cape Town in 2014 where he built the second largest digital news publisher with over nine million monthly readers. After 16 years of his life working in publishing, at the age of 34 years old, Patrick was diagnosed with an aggressive, malignant and “incurable” brain tumour.
Faced with death for the first time in his life, and after being given a very unfavourable prognosis, he decided to make some major changes to his life. And boy did those changes pay off, 4.5 years later still alive and well, stronger and fitter than ever.
Patrick will share his spiritual journey over breakfast on 29 February.
