Young Lambeth chef battles for title in MasterChef final – South London News

A 22-year-old from Lambeth is hoping to pull out all the stops to take home the winning title in tonight’s BBC Young MasterChef final.

Parts Apprentice, Famara, is one of the final three contestants who have reached the final of Young MasterChef which will be shown on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer at 8pm.

Famara said: “Final three. The word ‘finalist’ even sounds attractive. All jokes aside, it feels unreal. For me, getting selected for the competition in the first place was a very celebratory moment.

“No matter if I come out first, second or go on to win I just want to leave all the passion out in the kitchen.

“All the trial and errors, feeling of pressure, feeling of anxiety I want to absorb it all and turn the concerns into calculated actions with some risks.”
