The service took more than 20 years to complete after suffering numerous setbacks, delays and budget cuts and costs an estimated total of £18.9 billion.
The Elizabeth Line runs from Reading in Berkshire and Heathrow Airport in West London to Shenfield in Essex and Abbey Wood in South-East London via the centre of the capital.
It stops at stations including Bond Street, Farringdon, Liverpool Street, Canary Wharf, Whitechapel, Woolwich, and more.

On the website, you can choose a specific station where you’ll be able to see the live departures, status information, route maps and timetables.
The status of the Elizabeth Line will break down each stop and alert you if there are any changes that you should be made aware of.

What is the timetable for the Elizabeth Line?
If you are planning a journey on the Elizabeth Line and would like to check timetable services, you can see the full timetable via the TfL website here.
The timetable is broken down into journey directions, westbound and eastbound.
On the timetable, you will be able to see all journey times including what time the trains will arrive at stations between Monday and Friday with Saturday and Sunday having their timetable.
The current timetable for the Elizabeth Line is in place until June 1 2024.
