Mind Your Brain campaign launches with London pop-up sauna

Slow Motion Sauna, presented in partnership with DJ and wellness guru, Rob da Bank, will appear at Lewis Cubitt Square for three weeks, between January 18 and February 11.

This pop-up spa experience kicks off a three-month initiative, Mind Your Brain, which encourages people to look after their mental health.

Beginning January and lasting until March 2024, the campaign responds to recent Alzheimer’s UK research, which found 98% of Britons could do more for their brain health.

Slow Motion Sauna features two outdoor saunas and three cold plunge pools, which are said to have positive impacts on brain health, such as reduced inflammation, increased blood circulation and better cellular function.

Visitors can book a one-hour slot between 11am-7pm from Tuesday-Friday, and weekend slots from 9am-5pm.

Each sauna session costs £6, but remember to bring your own towel.

During their hour session, visitors can also use the exfoliating salt scrub and shower to finish their traditional Scandinavian spa experience.

Rob da Bank said: “We cannot wait to bring our two beautiful saunas and wild spa to King’s Cross in what can be the challenging month of January.

“Not only are sauna and ice baths amazing for your mental and physical health but they are such a great place to hang out with friends, meet new people and challenge yourself a little bit.

“You will leave the Slow Motion Sauna at King’s Cross literally glowing.”

The Slow Motion Sauna will run from January 18 to February 11 2024, on Lewis Cubitt Square, by the steps leading into Coal Drops Yard.

The Mind Your Brain campaign also plans a schedule of other events and activities to inspire wellness and brain health in 2024.
