The awards are made up of 10 categories including Chinese, Pizza, Thai, and Breakfast & Coffee.
Each award category has three businesses shortlisted, giving voters a choice to vote for their favourite restaurant.
This year, 12 restaurants across south London including three from south east London, have been shortlisted to win at the awards.
Voting closes on Sunday, January 21 with winners of the different categories being announced on Thursday, February 15.
Here are this year’s south east London restaurants shortlisted:
Bona Pizzeria
Address: 25 Dartmouth Road, London, SE23 3HN
Bona Pizzeria has been shortlisted for the award for “Best Pizza’ and is up against Cacciari’s in West London and Santa Maria in North & West London.
The restaurant, based in Forest Hill, first opened its doors in 2015 and serves freshly made Neopolitan-style pizza made in a wood fired oven, along with a menu of beers, wines and cocktails.
Marlowes
Address: Next to Wagamama in The Glades Shopping Centre, BR1 1DN
Marlowes, based in both Bromley and Clapham, has been shortlisted for the award category for “Best Burger & American“ and is up against Nanny Bill’s in South & West London and 7bone in Waltham Forest.
Marlowes offers a menu of classic American style dishes from burgers to chicken tenders, with a selection of vegan burger options and a menu of ales and beers.
Their Bromley branch also features a Ping Pong space for guests looking to play a game before they eat.
Tai
Address: 106 Foxberry Road, Brockley, SE4 2SH
Tai is one of three restaurants up for the award of “Best Thai”, being up against Rusty Bike in East London and Meekhun Thai in North and West London.
Tai has two branches in south London with one in Lewisham and another in Balham.
The restaurant serves Southern Thai cuisine with a menu that focuses on classic dishes, and “vegetable heavy” options suitable for vegan diners.
