This weekend planned works will impact travel between Highbury & Islington and New Cross or Clapham Junction, with a replacement bus service running during the daytime on the weekend.
Further works will also impact Overground services running between Richmond or Shepherds Bush and Willesden Junction.
TFL has advised that replacement bus services will run over the weekend whilst works are carried out.
Here’s everything you need to know:
Saturday, January 13 and Sunday, January 14 – No service between Highbury & Islington and New Cross or New Cross Gate or Clapham Junction
From 1am on Saturday and all day on Sunday planned works will mean that Overground services between Highbury & Islington and New Cross, New Cross Gate or Clapham Junction will not run.
This will impact Friday and Saturday night Overground services.
During the weekend a daytime replacement bus service will run.
For passengers travelling to Clapham Junction, a replacement M bus service will run calling at these stations:
- Canada Water
- Surrey Quays
- Queens Road Peckham
- Peckham Rye
- Denmark Hill
- Clapham High Street
- Wandsworth Road
- Clapham Junction
A daytime bus service X will also run for passengers travelling between Canonbury and New Cross Gate.

- Whitechapel (for local bus route D3 connections to/from Shadwell and Wapping)

Saturday, January 13 and Sunday, January 14 – No service between Richmond or Shepherds Bush and Willesden Junction
Due to planned works over the weekend, no London Overground services will be running between Richmond or Shepherds Bush and Willesden Junction.
Passengers travelling to Richmond are advised to use the District Line between Richmond and Gunnersbury on Saturday, however no service will be operating on Sunday.
Passengers travelling between Shepherds Bush and Willesden Junction are being advised by TFL to take London buses 220 and 228 between these stations.
At Willesden Junction, all trains will serve the low level platforms as part of a combined Stratford to Watford Junction train service.
On Saturday, a replacement bus service R will run between Gunnersbury and Willesden Junction.
