Christmas: Is this south London’s most festive home?

Is Walworth a contender for the most festive part of London?

Displays both little and large light up the estates. But the centrepiece is the Mustafa family’s house on Albany Road, which for more than 20 years has been decked out at Christmas to raise money for the Anthony Nolan Trust.

The charity helped save the life of son Alex, who had leukaemia, and the family is keen to give something back.

It takes several weeks to rig each year and the family hopes that if people enjoy the lights, they can spare some money – or perhaps even some stem cells – by signing up to the Anthony Nolan Trust register.
