Paris Hilton cradles son Phoenix by the pink Christmas tree she lit in honor of her newborn daughter London

Paris Hilton cradled her baby son Phoenix as she sat by the pink Christmas tree she lit for her newborn daughter London.

She shocked the world on Thanksgiving by announcing her younger child’s arrival on Instagram, gushing: ‘Thankful for my baby girl.’

The 42-year-old socialite and her husband, venture capitalist Carter Reum, welcomed both babies into the world via surrogate.

Two days after breaking the birth news, Paris fired up her Instagram to share a charming glimpse into her first Yuletide as a mother.

Phoenix, who is nearly 11 months old, sat delightedly in his mother’s lap as she gazed up at the radiant rose-lit tree nearby.

‘Celebrating our baby girl London with a pink Christmas!’ wrote Paris in her caption, adding a string of heart emojis and a Christmas tree emoji.

Paris included a few pictures of just her and Phoenix, plus a smattering with her sister-in-law Halle Hammond, who brought her own children to the festivities.

There were also a couple of videos in her album, such as one of her carrying Phoenix over to the Christmas tree as he gazed enraptured at the lights.

‘Look at this beautiful tree. Do you like that?’ she cooed at her son, who reached out curiously to touch the display. ‘Isn’t this beautiful?’

Paris sent her fans into a frenzy on Thursday when she marked Thanksgiving by posting a picture of a pink baby dress with: ‘London,’ written on it.

‘Thankful for my baby girl,’ she wrote, leaving the public scratching their heads at whether the little tyke was on her way or had already been born.

The matter was cleared up on Black Friday, when a representative for Paris confirmed to the Associated Press that a surrogate had given birth to London.

Social media was set ablaze by the news, with fans pointing out that the old Disney Channel sitcom The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody included a character called London Tipton (Brenda Song) who was an obvious parody of Paris.

Paris herself noticed the link between her and the sitcom character years ago, tweeting that she had realized ‘London Tipton is basically me.’

As Thanksgiving Weekend wore on, Paris shared a heartwarming video of her and Carter telling Phoenix he had just become a brother.

Phoenix, being not even a year old, found his attention drifting between his parents and the holographic paper he was playing with as he sat on the couch.

In January, Paris and Carter ecstatically announced  that they had welcomed baby Phoenix into the world with the help of a surrogate.

She and Carter hid the baby’s arrival from even their immediate families until right before she broke the news on social media.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she explained why she took such drastic measures as hiding the news from her family.

‘My entire life has been so public,’ she said. ‘I’ve never had anything for myself. We decided that we wanted to have this whole experience to ourselves.’

While the surrogate was in labor with Phoenix, Paris was so determined to protect her secret that she even went to the bother of disguising herself with a brunette wig and checking into the hospital under an alias.

Her decision was especially notable considering how close she is to her family, particularly her sister Nicky Hilton Rothschild and their mother Kathy Hilton.

However tension flared up between mother and daughter in November 2022 when Kathy let slip to E! News that IVF had been a ‘struggle’ for Paris.

‘I don’t know where she got that,’ Paris shot back in a TMZ interview the following day. ‘It’s never been a struggle at all.’

When Paris announced the arrival of her firstborn child, all she said was ‘You are already loved beyond words,’ on a photo of the baby’s hand holding Paris’s finger.

On an episode of her podcast This Is Paris, she spilled that Phoenix was ‘like over a week old’ before she told Kathy and Nicky about his birth.

During a March episode of the same podcast, she explained that she had already decided on the name London for a daughter she hoped to have.

‘I’m really excited for Phoenix to have a baby sister one day – named London. It’s my favorite city and I’ve always wanted to name my daughter London,’ she said.

‘I had actually picked that name for a long time now, probably over 10 years. I always wanted London. I love that name for my daughter.’
