Potential contagion incident on British Airways flight landing at London Heathrow

Lots of fire trucks and ambulances rushed to London Heathrow airport.

Police escorted ambulances and firetrucks to London Heathrow Terminal 5 over a ‘Potential contagion’ incident.

A British Airways flight from Barcelona was met by emergency vehicles upon landing after smoke/fumes were detected in the cockpit.

Two crew members fell ill.

Firemen boarded the aircraft while passengers were asked to stay in the plane.

The flight #BA475 arrived from Barcelona late at 16:15 BST.

Passengers were finally allowed to disembark on the tarmac.

Then all PAX were herded into some departure gates.
