This is the shocking moment three brazen thugs on bikes smash the back window of  a car and steal bags from the boot of a car in broad daylight outside a celebrity recording studio.

The theft took place last week outside the Westpoint Studios in Acton, west London, where a vehicle had been left in a loading bay.

Westpoint Studios’ website says it has hosted dozens of celebrities including Adele, Bjork, Frank Ocean, Dizzee Rascal, Kylie Minogue, Little Mix, Paul Weller, Pete Tong, PJ Harvey, Pharrell Williams, Take That and Tom Jones.

The plush £55,000 Audi A7 had its rear window smashed after bags were left on view on the parcel shelf.

Video footage was taken of the trio in the act by a resident living in a flat opposite with a clear view of the scene.

She said police arrived within 20 minutes.

As the three riders cycle off carrying a looted bag, the car’s parcel shelf can be seen lying on the floor. The thugs search through the boot of the car before pulling out three bags.

After searching through them, they discard one and leave it behind on the pavement.

They then race off down the road as they escape from the scene on their black mountain bikes.

All three are dressed head to toe in black, with helmets and face coverings.

Some wondered why people leave items of value on display in their cars.

The Met Police have been contacted for comment.
