A resolute Wrexham AFC side held on to secure victory with ten men on the road in South London.

The Red Dragons started strongly under the unusually warm October sunshine, showing their intent to the home side from the beginning. It wasn’t long until the pressure was rewarded – Ollie Palmer scoring in the 13th minute to put Wrexham ahead. For a second match in a row Arthur Okonkwo impressed – denying the opposition a first-half equaliser.

Wrexham were then dealt a blow when Andy Cannon receieved a straight red in the 66th minute for a late tackle, leaving the visitors on the back foot. A testing end to a thrilling game for Wrexham AFC ensued. Undetterred – they continued to hold Crawley Town until the final whistle despite seven minutes of stoppage time.
