Big luxe estate agency launches another London branch

Estate agency Sotheby’s International has opened another office in London within the plush St John’s Wood neighbourhood as demand for high-end property surges.

The firm says that this permanent presence will enhance its ability to serve clients both in the sought-after district but also neighbouring Regents Park, Primrose Hill, Hampstead, Belsize Park, Maida Vale and Highgate

FLAGSHIP BRANCHES

The St John’s Wood office (main picture) is the first of three new flagship estate agency branches to open in the next 12 months as the agency seeks to make a bigger foothold in the luxury market – having had just one in Victoria until now on Ebury Street.

UK Sotheby’s International Realty already enjoys a successful reputation in North London’s St John’s Wood, with notable sales including the sale of a property on Hamilton Terrace for £22.5 million and the sale of a property on Elsworthy Road for £22 million.

The new office is a 700 sq ft corner office space at 62 St John’s Wood High Street nestled amongst some of the best local businesses in the area. The landlord for the space is Trophaeum Asset Management.

George Azar, Chairman and Chief Executive of UK Sotheby’s International Realty, says: “With a strong track record of sales in the area spanning a number of years and unrivalled expertise in the luxury real estate market this new physical presence will allow us to continue our mission to connect discerning buyers and sellers with exceptional properties in this much sought-after community.”

ATTRACTING THE WEALTHY

Ethan Berenzweig, Retail Leasing Manager at Trophaeum Asset Management, adds: “St John’s Wood continues to attract international and domestic wealth from some of the world’s most sophisticated private and commercial real estate investors.

“UK Sotheby’s International Realty will leverage the location as an anchor for the North and Northwest London markets.

“We are delighted with the brand’s decision as the opening will make a fabulous addition to St John’s Wood High Street and will complement the carefully curated tenant mix at the heart of this vibrant and thriving community.”

The Neg revealed in July UK Sotheby’s International Realty was back for another series of Channel 4’s Britain’s Most Expensive Houses.
