Overturned car blocks road in Harrow causing delays

An overturned car has brought traffic to a standstill on Sudbury Hill, Harrow, leading to severe delays in the area.

The incident took place at the junction of Mount Park Avenue and London Road this afternoon. Emergency services, including the London Fire Brigade, were quickly dispatched to the scene.

According to a spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade, they received a call from the Metropolitan Police at 14:34 reporting an overturned car at the mentioned junction. Firefighters promptly arrived at the scene to handle the situation.

A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade told Harrow Online: “Firefighters were called by the Metropolitan Police to a report of a car that had overturned at the junction of Mount Park Avenue and London Road in Harrow this afternoon (August 4).

“The Brigade was called at 1434 and the incident was over for firefighters by 1448.

“The incident is currently causing traffic delays in the area and drivers are asked to find alternative routes where possible.”

As of now, there is no confirmation regarding any injuries sustained in the accident. Harrow Online has reached out to the London Ambulance Service for further updates.
