Ben Shephard’s quiet life in affluent London suburb where average home fetches £1.1million

Ben Shephard is an English presenter known for presenting a plethora of TV shows including the now defunct breakfast show GMTV.

The 48-year-old was born in Epping, Essex and was educated at Chigwell School before attending the University of Birmingham.

The presenter achieved a BA honours degree in Dance, Drama and Theatre Arts and with hopes of becoming an actor.

At University he joined a local weather network through a casting process and then became a runner before being encouraged by a producer to become a television presenter.

Ben’s career began in 1998 when he began hosting the Channel 4 spin-off show The Bigger Breakfast, alongside fellow presenters including Josie D’Arby, Melanie Sykes and Dermot O’Leary.

He has since worked for ITV, ITV Breakfast, Sky, BBC and Radio.

He’s also featured in four films – A Bear’s Christmas Tail, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, The Lego Ninjago Movie and SAS: Red Notice.

Ben lives in a beautiful family home in Richmond, South West London, with his wife Annie Perks who he married in March 2004. The couple have two sons, Jack and Sam.

The home has a beautiful garden which includes a perfectly manicured lawn and a patio area with a metal bench and a fire pit.

The garden’s borders are filled with stunning flowers including what appears to be hydrangeas, daffodils and peonies.
