Where to watch Women’s World Cup in North London

With time zones 8-10 hours ahead some pubs and venues are opening early for morning kick offs. A total of 32 teams are taking part and England’s group D matches start on Saturday July 22 at 10.30 am with England vs Haiti, followed by England vs Denmark at 9.30am on Friday July 28, and China vs England at 12pm on Tuesday August 1.

We round up North London venues where you can cheer on the Lionesses.

Bar Kick Shoreditch High Street.

The East London sports bar will open in time for all the Women’s World Cup games. And once the final whistle has blown, hungry fans can order burgers, Korean fried chicken, and loaded fries or play darts or table football.

The Long Arm Worship Street, East London

Another dedicated sports bar is embracing a summer of sport and planning football breakfasts for fans to cheer the Lionesses on to victory.

Belushis Camden High Street.

The entire chain is celebrating the World Cup with projectors and HD screens, and in London fans can pre order a five bottle bucket for £25.

Sports bar and Grill Marylebone

The venue in Melcombe Place is raring to celebrate the National team and has even come up with a Lioness Bottomless Brunch and dedicated cocktail, The Lioness blending Hendrick’s Gin with Fever Tree Elderflower tonic.

Baller Friends Collective at Signature Brew Tap room

Baller FC is partnering with the Haggerston brewery for a Festival of Football in celebration of the FIFA 2023 Women’s World Cup. Running from July 20 until the final on August 20, they will be screening Lionesses and selected games live on Signature’s massive screen and bringing the party vibes with music, beer, street food, art and spin-off events in an inclusive, friendly open space, designed for fans of women’s football ‘where we can all watch sport without prejudice’.

BOXPARK Wembley

Breakfast cereal Weetabix has partnered with the Wembley Park food drink and entertainment venue to create a fan zone experience. They are setting up a breakfast bar to serve healthy and wholesome bowls of cereal for the Haiti and Denmark group games. The venue is screening many matches with DJ a football cage and challenge arena, kids crafts and face painting and of course giant screens to watch the games.
