Food-to-go manufacturer Around Noon’s acquisition of a major London-based counterpart has been named as Deal of the Month for June.
The acquisition of The Soho Sandwich Company – Around Noon’s third acquisition since a management buyout in 2016 – adds more than 300 employees to the company’s headcount, as well as a new north London production facility, and a range of blue-chip clients.
The Soho Sandwich Company will continue to operate under its own brand within the Around Noon Group and will continue to service its existing customers across food service, retail, events and hospitality.
The company will also continue to be managed by its existing managing director Daniel Silverston.
The enlarged group has 800 employees and revenues of more than £80m.
Around Noon completed the acquisition with support from Barclays Bank. Around Noon was advised on the deal by 3Volution, Sentio Partners, KPMG and Parisi Tax.
The Soho Sandwich company was advised by Sherrards and WMT.
