Former Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn is back at it again with his questionable bhangra dance moves after a video of him celebrating a Pakistani wedding went viral online.

Mr Corbyn showed off his traditional folk dancing in North London last night while surrounded by excitable guests at a wedding party.

The 28-second clip, which was posted to Twitter today, shot the Islington North MP sporting a pastel blue waistcoat paired with white trousers and a white shirt.

As the 74-year-old struggled to keep up with the fast-paced drumming, the raving wedding party cheered him on from the sidelines as he stole the spotlight for a little boogie with the guests.

The large crowd clapped him on as he pulled out his best moves for the bride and groom.

He can be seen throwing his hands in the air as he desperately tries to coordinate his stomping feet to the beat before another wedding guest offers his hand in a bid to show him some other traditional dances.

Bhangra was created by British Punjabis in the 1960s being based on their music from their native Punjab, a region in the north of the Indian subcontinent divided between Pakistan and India.

Mr Corbyn’s wedding dance videos are starting to become an annual tradition – this time last year he also went viral online for busting out similar moves at the wedding of left-wing Labour MP Zarah Sultana’s sister in Coventry.

He was cheered on by a large crowd of guests standing around him after being ‘pulled over’ for a dance by the groom Rizwan’s cousin Tayab Naveed, 26.

After dancing Mr Corbyn paused to clap but only managed to twice before a shocked Mr Corbyn was lifted onto the shoulders of his dance partner and another wedding guest.

All three then punch the air in celebration as they are loudly cheered by the large crowd.

Joining the likes of Theresa May and Michael Gove, the MP is becoming known for his fun and wacky dances and people online are loving it.

Juliet Brown commented ‘love it’ on the Twitter post while another agreed writing ‘love that’.

But others were a little more critical of his attempt at traditional folk dancing.

Jagtar Singh wrote: ‘The man is an embarrassment’ while Dojj Singh added ‘at last, someone who is a worse dancer than me’.
