Felix hint over joining another London club
Joao Felix has hinted at a shock transfer across London.
The Portugual attacker spent the second half of last season on loan at Chelsea from Atletico Madrid.
Felix, 23, netted four goals in 16 Premier League appearances as he could not inspire the Blues to a resurgence up the league table.
It was thought he could permanently move to Stamford Bridge this summer, but a deal appears unlikely with Chelsea pursuing other targets. Felix, however, has now hinted at a move to the Blues’ London rivals, West Ham.
He was filmed practising his skills by football agent Miguel Gomes while wearing the Hammers’ third kit from last season. In the video, Felix can be seen taking part in a shooting drill, scoring three out of his five attempts.
It is the same shirt they wore as they won the Conference League and had West Ham star Said Benrahma’s name on the back.
Felix only played against West Ham once last season, in a match at the London Stadium that ended 1-1, with the hosts in their traditional claret and blue shirt.
This means that Felix would not have gotten his hands on the shirt with a typical swap at the end of the game with the Algerian winger.
