Tottenham fan Tom Holland BEGS Harry Kane and Son Heung-min to leave for Real Madrid

Tottenham fan Tom Holland begs Harry Kane to LEAVE for Real Madrid so he can be ‘the best player in the world, with the Spiderman actor also urging Son Heung-min to ‘go with him’

Tom Holland has urged Harry Kane and Son Heung-min to leave his beloved Tottenham so they can ‘go and win the Champions League together.’

The Spiderman actor has been outspoken in his love of Spurs in the past, and even tried to persuade Kylian Mbappe to join the club during the 2021 Ballon d’Or gala.

His outlook on the club has become more pessimistic, as he is now encouraging their best players to leave in order to progress their careers.

When asked by Unilad what he would like to say to Kane, Holland replied: ‘I’d say go to [Real] Madrid. Go and be the best football player in the world, that you deserve to be.

After revealing that Son is his favourite player, the actor added: ‘I’d say go with him, go together, go win the Champions League together please.’

He also named Son as his favourite player

Tottenham’s 2022-23 season was one of the more turbulent in their recent history.

They sacked manager Antonio Conte in March after he launched an extraordinary rant at his own players, and ended up coming eighth in the league, their worst finish in 14 years.

It came in spite of an excellent individual season for Kane, who passed 30 goals across all competitions for the fifth time. Manchester United were interested in signing the England captain, but are unwilling to pay the £100 million price tag Daniel Levy has placed on him.

Holland found parallels between supporting Spurs and the lower moments of his job as an actor, as he went on: ‘Being a Tottenham fan is somewhat like being in The Crowded Room, it has taught my resilience.

‘Tottenham have never won anything, and supporting them has been difficult, and it’s no secret that my show has been so horribly reviewed, but I’m here today but I’m here today, because I’m resilient.’

Despite making it to the Champions League final in 2019, Tottenham have not won a major trophy since the League Cup in 2006.

Their last league title came over 60 years ago in 1961, and a first season outside of Europe since 2007 does not suggest they are a club moving in the right direction.

They will be led next season by former Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou, who will be hoping to take the side back into the top four after a tricky 12 months in North London.
