London-based buyout firm Permira has appointed Peter Gibbs, a former Clifford Chance private equity lawyer, as its global general counsel.
He will replace Permira’s current general counsel Ulrich Gasse, after Gasse retires at the end of the year.
Gibbs joined Permira in 2001, and currently works as managing director and chief fund counsel.
