Noel Gallagher opens up about life after splitting from his wife Sara MacDonald and moving to his London bachelor pad… with some VERY famous neighbours
He was once known for his rock and roll ways.
But it seems Noel Gallagher is a changed man and now prefers spending his days furniture shopping and buying milk.
The former Oasis singer, 55, who split from his wife Sara MacDonald, 51, in January, bought a house in West London and has been searching for Seventies furniture and art to decorate it with.
He explained: ‘Finding vintage furniture is what I like to do at the moment. There’s a website called FirstDibs, which is great.’
Talking about his new Maida Vale home during an interview in Germany, Noel revealed that he has many famous neighbours including Chrissie Hynde, Paul Weller and Glen Matlock.

He said: ‘I run into Glen quite a lot because he goes to the cafe which is on the way to the pizza restaurant that I go to….
‘…I see Weller a lot, I see Chrissie from time to time. But I guess I’m the most active.
‘I think I’ve seen Weller in the supermarket once. I’m always the one in the queue buying milk.’
Noel was notorious for a party-hard lifestyle at the height of Brit Pop in the mid ’90s and lived it up during rowdy nights in his previous north London home.
Named Supernova Heights, after the 1996 Oasis hit Champagne Supernova, the property had the name etched into the glass above the front door.
Party goers included the likes of supermodel Kate Moss, actress Sadie Frost and The Charlatans who were all dubbed the Primrose Hill set.
Noel sold the London property to TV personality David Walliams and moved out of the capital in 2019 when he and Sara upped sticks to rural Hampshire.
The house move comes after Noel opened up about his breakup from Sara, who he was with for 12 years, revealing that the couple ‘grew tired of each other’.

They married in 2011 at the Lime Wood Hotel in the New Forest in a £60,000 ceremony with guests including Russell Brand in attendance.
Younger brother and former bandmate Liam said he wasn’t invited.
Liam famously doesn’t get along with Sara and has had a slew of public rows with the PR exec in the past.
He even hinted that she was the reason that an Oasis reunion wouldn’t be happening, with Noel furious over Liam’s relentless public criticism of his now ex wife.
