Greentea Peng performing at Somerset House in The Strand – South London News

If there’s two things to know about Greentea Peng, she runs things her own way, and she’s from Bermondsey.

Aria Wells, known professionally as Greentea Peng, is coming to Somerset House on July 8 for a performance not to be missed.

Peng covers all things spiritual with her lyrics but also dips into the overtly political.

She is unmissable with her unique ragamuffin style and so is her music –a shaken up psychedelic cocktail of R&B laced with the soul, dub and reggae she grew up listening to.

Atmospheres, healing and processing society’s messages are the point to Peng’s music, rather than one off hits.

In particular, her song Dingaling shows off Greentea Peng’s essence in all its glory.

If your Saturday night needs a serious dose of positive energy, Greentea Peng’s recipe is more love, less ego and she has you covered.

Greentea Peng will be performing at The Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court at Somerset House in The Strand.
