QPR defender set for summer transfer to Championship rival – South London News

QPR defender Rob Dickie is set for a medical at Bristol City ahead of a permanent switch to Ashton Gate.

The Telegraph are reporting that the former Oxford defender has agreed personal terms over a move at Ashton Gate.

City are set to sign the 27-year-old defender for a reported £1million, with Nigel Pearson’s side capitalising on the fact Dickie only had one year to go on his deal at Loftus Road.

Former Reading youngster Dickie has made 129 appearances for QPR in all competitions after signing from Oxford United in the summer of 2021.

Dickie played for England at U18 and U19 level. QPR finished 20th in the Championship table. The Robins finished 14th – 10 points off the top six.
