First picture of man, 20, knifed outside South London Tube station | UK | News

The first picture of a man who died in a shop after he was stabbed outside a train station has been released.  On Saturday (April 16), a 20-year-old man, named as Filipe was knifed outside Tulse Hill, in Lambeth, south London. Police rushed to the spot on Norwood Road around 6pm where Filipe was found in a nearby shop suffering from stab wounds.

Despite being treated by paramedics, he died at the scene.

In a tribute to Filipe his family have since said on a GoFundMe page: “He was a very much loved member of our family and his loss will be felt strongly forever.

“His friends are forever going to miss his company, jokes, laugh and smile.

“Filipe was one of the funniest people you could come across, and always put his friends and family first.”

A GoFundMe page has been set up by his loved ones to raise money for the young man’s funeral.

Police continued to remain at the scene on Sunday alongside a cordon as forensics officers continued to try and gather evidence.

A murder investigation has been launched, however, no arrests have been made yet.

An eyewitness said at the time people were gathered round crying after the “horrendous” incident happened.

A Section 60 Order granting police additional stop and search powers was authorised.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 referencing CAD 5605/15 Apr.
