Emergency services rushed to the scene on Longshaw Road in Chingford, East London, around 9pm on Bank Holiday Monday after the 17-year-old was stabbed.
London’s air ambulance found the teen with a stab wound near a school, however, despite their best efforts to save him, he died at the scene.
His next of kin has been informed and the police have launched an investigation into the tragic death.
No arrests have been made thus far and the attacker is believed to be at large.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Police were called at 21:21hrs on Monday, 10 April, to reports of a stabbing in Longshaw Road, Chingford.
“Officers were on scene within three minutes along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
“They found a 17-year-old boy with a stab wound.
“Despite the efforts of members of the public and the emergency services, he died at the scene.
“His next have been have been informed.
“An investigation is under way and enquiries are ongoing.
“No arrests have been made.
