Car in Southampton amasses more than dozen parking tickets

A CAR that has amassed more than a dozen parking tickets in recent weeks is still there.
The blue Fiat has been on Milton Road, in Southampton for some time now, as shown by the growing pile of tickets on the windscreen.
In recent photos shared on social media of the vehicle, around 15 separate tickets can be seen, placed on the car by the city council.
One Twitter user, @BartFeenstra shared a photo of the car with the caption: “The persistence of @SouthamptonCC parking enforcement officers is admirable.

“Remind me never to dare you into a staring contest, @SouthamptonCC! How long until you tow vehicles, though?”
The authority responded however saying that its civil enforcement officers are aware of the vehicle but that there is a “consultation and other legal requirements that would be needed to be completed in their investigation first.”
It added that it cannot give an update on these matters currently.
