London Tube closures December 30 to January 2

With the weekend upon us, it is time to verify what deliberate TfL closures are going down from Friday to the Financial institution Vacation.

As with most weekends, some stations will likely be closed or partly closed for TfL to hold out important work.

We have put a fast checklist collectively of all of the work this weekend to make sure you do not get caught out and might plan forward.

Friday, December 30:

District Line: No service between Earls Courtroom and Kensington Olympia, till Monday 2 January

Elizabeth Line: No service between Whitechapel and Shenfield. The restricted Elizabeth line providers between Liverpool Avenue Nationwide Rail station and Shenfield will even not function.

London Overground: No service between Gospel Oak and Barking Riverside.

Waterloo & Metropolis line: Service operates between 06:00 and 00:30, Monday – Friday. No service at weekends and on public and financial institution holidays.

New 12 months’s Eve Saturday, December 31:

District Line: No service between Earls Courtroom and Kensington Olympia, till Monday 2 January

London Overground: Saturday 31 December, New Years Day 1, and Monday 2 January, no service between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction

Waterloo & Metropolis line: Service operates between 06:00 and 00:30, Monday – Friday. No service at weekends and on public and financial institution holidays. A service will function from Wednesday 28 to Friday 30 December.

New 12 months’s Day, Sunday, January 1:

District Line: No service between Earls Courtroom and Kensington Olympia, till Monday 2 January.

Elizabeth Line: No service between Whitechapel and Shenfield. The restricted Elizabeth line providers between Liverpool Avenue Nationwide Rail station and Shenfield will even not function.

London Overground: New Years’ Day 1, and Monday 2 January, no service between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction.

Metropolitan Line: New 12 months’s Day, 1 January, between 02:00 and 11:00, no service between Baker Avenue and Aldgate. Please use Circle and Hammersmith & Metropolis line trains.

Waterloo & Metropolis line: No service at weekends and on public and financial institution holidays. 

Financial institution Vacation, Monday, January 2:

District Line: Ho service between Earls Courtroom and Kensington Olympia
