Millwall injury update ahead of Watford match on Boxing Day – South London News

Benik Afobe and Ryan Leonard both resumed light training today as the Millwall duo stepped up their return from injury.

Striker Afobe, 29, has not featured for the Lions since the 1-0 loss at Huddersfield at the end of October.

The former Stoke City, Wolves and Bristol City frontman needed an injection for a knee problem.

The versatile Leonard has been out since August after suffering a major hamstring tear.

The pair are both still expected to be between a week and 10 days away from being available for selection.

Millwall manager Gary Rowett is not expected to have any fresh selection options before facing Watford at Vicarage Road on Boxing Day.

Callum Styles (calf) has done some light training.
