Tulse Hill shooting: Man fights for life after south London attack | UK | News

A young man is fighting for his life after being shot last night in a district’s second shooting in three days.

Cordons remain in place today in Tulse Hill, south London, following the attack, said to have happened at 11pm. The 25-year-old victim was rushed to hospital in a serious condition.

No arrests have been made at this stage, My London says.

But Metropolitan Police continue to investigate the shooting, which happened near a primary school and a park on a busy main road which connects the district with Brixton in the north and Streatham in the south.

Police tweeted: “We’re investigating a shooting on Tulse Hill just before 11pm.

“A 25yo man is in a serious condition in hospital. No arrest yet and cordons in place. Witnesses are asked to call 101, ref CAD 6357/18DEC or to remain anonymous contact Crimestoppers.”

Another man, also in his 20s, was shot in the area on Friday night.

He also was dashed to hospital and, speaking to the press on Saturday, police said they were awaiting details on his condition.
