Which Tower Hamlets schools are closed due to the snow?

Schools across Tower Hamlets have made alternative provisions today (December 12), following yesterday’s heavy snowfall.

Icy conditions are expected to continue into tomorrow morning.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for London and southeast England. 

Snow and icy conditions are expected to result in difficult travel today and into Tuesday.

  • Bishop Challoner Boys’ School
  • Bishop Challoner Girls’ School
  • Bow School (closed to Years 10, 11, 12 and 13)
  • Langdon Park School (closed to Years 10, 11, 12 and 13)
  • Morpeth School (started early at 11am and finishing early at 2.50pm)
  • St Edmund’s Catholic School
  • Stepney All Saints Church of England Secondary School
