Two women – aged 21 and 18 – were suffering serious head injuries following an incident that had taken place at around 4am.
A woman has been left with a fractured skull and another with “serious head injuries” after a man threw a canister at them in an “unacceptable” attack outside a north London nightclub.
Met Police detectives are appealing for the public’s help in tracing two men involved in the incident and have issued a video of the assault.
Officers were called to Great Russell Street, Bloomsbury, in the early hours of Sunday, October 30, by paramedics with the London Ambulance Service (LAS).

Police established the women were at a club in Bloomsbury when a verbal altercation began with a man they’d met during the evening, who threw a canister at the victims before leaving.

They were taken to hospital where the 21-year-old was found to have a fractured skull, while the younger second victim had suffered injuries to her face and head.
Both victims’ injuries were later assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing. A third woman was seen at the scene by paramedics but was not injured.
DC Alexandra Davies, from north London police, said: “This was an unacceptable attack on three women simply enjoying a night out.
“We are determined to tackle violence against women and girls and we are doing everything we can to identify the men pictured.
“I know members of the public will share our concern about this incident and will be keen to help us trace them.”

Enquiries to locate the man are ongoing, as well as work to trace another man who returned to the scene to retrieve the canister.
