Man arrested for possession of an offensive weapon in Harrow

A man has been arrested for affray and possession of an offensive weapon in Harrow.

The incident happened at Bethecar Road, at the junction of Torver Road, shortly after 7:30pm yesterday evening (18 Nov).

Reporting the news, one member of Harrow Online said that at least “Five police cars and a police van blocking off the road at the junction of Bethecar Road and Torver Road.”

Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called at 19:35hrs on Friday, 18 November to reports of a man in possession of a knife in Bethecar Road, Harrow.

“Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and the man was arrested for affray and possession of an offensive weapon. He remains in custody.

“No injuries were reported.”
